Overview

Interior Painting

Interior painting across Lebanon, Albany, Sweet Home, Salem, Keizer, and Eugene — walls, ceilings, and trim finished with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Interior. Proper prep is everything: I patch, sand, and prime as needed, then cut in and roll clean so the finish is uniform and the lines are crisp.

Emerald Interior is a premium acrylic latex engineered for a smooth, rich finish with excellent hide and touch-up — so even dark walls cover in fewer coats and repairs disappear. It's low-VOC and low-odor, so you can reoccupy the space quickly, and it resists stains and scrubbing so high-traffic walls stay cleanable.

The difference between a pro paint job and a quick one is prep and product. I use Emerald Interior on walls and ceilings for a lasting, washable finish, and I keep the job clean and organized. Veteran-owned. Oregon CCB #249540. Licensed, bonded, and insured.

The Coating We Use

Sherwin-Williams Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex

Premium interior wall finish

Emerald Interior is Sherwin-Williams' premium interior acrylic latex — engineered for a smooth, rich finish with excellent hide and touch-up. It's low-VOC, low-odor, and resists stains and scrubbing, so walls stay cleanable and look new longer.

Premium hide & touch-up

Excellent coverage and touch-up means fewer coats and invisible repairs — even dark walls cover in fewer coats.

Stain & scrub resistance

Resists common household stains and stands up to scrubbing, so high-traffic walls and hallways stay cleanable.

Low VOC & low odor

Low-VOC, low-odor formula — safer for your family and fast to reoccupy the space.

Smooth, rich finish

Excellent flow and leveling produce a uniform, brush- and roller-mark-free finish.

Available in matte, satin, and semi-gloss sheens across the Sherwin-Williams Designer Color Collection.

The Coating We Use

Sherwin-Williams Premium Ceiling Paint

Ceiling finish

Ceilings get their own coating for a reason. Sherwin-Williams Premium Ceiling Paint is a flat, bright-white acrylic formulated specifically for overhead application — it dries fast with low spatter and a uniform matte finish that hides surface imperfections and kills the glare a glossier paint would highlight under overhead light. The result is a clean, even ceiling without the roller marks and patchiness that show up when ordinary wall paint is rolled overhead.

Flat, glare-free matte

A true flat sheen hides ceiling imperfections and eliminates the glare a glossier paint would highlight under can lights and daylight.

Bright-white coverage

Formulated for a bright, uniform white that freshens tired ceilings and covers stains and discoloration in fewer coats.

Low spatter & fast dry

Roller-friendly, low-spatter formula that dries fast — cleaner application and less time on the ladder.

Stain-blocking

Resists the water spots, cooking stains, and discoloration that show up on kitchen and bath ceilings.

Flat sheen, bright white. Designed for ceiling application across living areas, kitchens, and baths.

The Coating We Use

Sherwin-Williams ProClassic Interior Waterbased Acrylic-Alkyd Enamel

Interior trim & door enamel

Trim, doors, and casings take more contact and cleaning than walls, so they get a harder coating. ProClassic Interior Waterbased Acrylic-Alkyd Enamel delivers the look and feel of a traditional oil-based alkyd with the easy soap-and-water cleanup of a water-based paint. It levels out smooth with minimal brush marks, holds up to wear and scrubbing, and resists yellowing so white trim stays bright.

Alkyd feel, water-based cleanup

The look and leveling of an oil-based alkyd with soap-and-water cleanup and low odor.

Excellent flow & leveling

Flows out to a smooth, sprayed-looking finish even when brushed or rolled — minimal brush marks.

Tough & durable

A hard, durable enamel that outperforms standard interior trim paints in wear and washability.

Non-yellowing

Resists yellowing over time, keeping white trim and doors bright.

Ideal for interior trim, doors, and casings where a smooth, durable enamel finish is desired.

Long-Form Answers

Interior Painting — common questions

Sherwin-Williams Emerald Interior — a premium low-VOC acrylic latex with excellent hide, stain resistance, and washability. It covers in fewer coats, touches up invisibly, and stands up to scrubbing on high-traffic walls.

Most single rooms are one to two days depending on prep, size, and the number of coats. I protect floors and furniture with clean canvas drop cloths and plastic, keep the work area organized, and ventilate so the low-VOC, low-odor Emerald finish lets you reoccupy the space quickly.

Yes — prep is where a pro paint job is won or lost. I patch nail pops, settle cracks, and damaged drywall, blend the patches smooth, and re-texture to match the surrounding wall (knock-down, orange peel, or smooth) before priming. Repairs are primed so they don't flash through the finish coat, and the goal is that you can't tell they were ever there.

Floors are covered with canvas drop cloths (not slippery plastic), furniture is moved or grouped and covered, and cabinets, trim, and fixtures are masked off where needed. I cut in by hand for crisp lines against ceilings, trim, and corners, and clean the job site at the end of each day.

For living areas and bedrooms, matte or satin Emerald Interior is the most forgiving — it hides minor wall imperfections and still cleans well. High-traffic areas like hallways, kids' rooms, and kitchens do better in satin for scrub resistance. Trim, doors, and cabinets get a harder enamel (ProClassic or Emerald Urethane) in satin, semi-gloss, or gloss so they stand up to cleaning and contact. I'll recommend the right sheen for each surface when I see the space.

Yes — bring a sample, a chip, or the old paint can, and I'll have it matched at Sherwin-Williams. For the best match I'll do a brush-out test on the wall and check it in daylight before committing, because wet paint dries down differently and adjacent walls catch light at different angles.
