The Focal Point

Every remodel centers on the shower.

Over time, materials break down. Caulking dries out. Grout cracks. Fixtures wear. Waterproofing systems age. Eventually something gives — whether gradual deterioration, a plumbing failure, or simply the realization that you're ready for an updated space.

Every remodel is different. The approach depends on existing conditions, desired layout, and the level of finish you're aiming for. We help you choose the right path for your home and budget.

02

Open & Address

Walls come open. We raise shower heads to modern height, replace aging mixing valves, and address plumbing — including upgrading tub drains to meet code.

03

Waterproof

A proper waterproofing system is the heart of a lasting shower. Factory-sloped pans, waterproofed walls, code-compliant drains — built to never leak.

04

Tile & Finish

Custom or large-format tile, linear or seamless drains, frameless glass, niches, benches, and fixtures — finished to a luxury standard.

The Build Sequence

Long-Form Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on scope. Acrylic tub/shower surrounds start around $4,500 (including removal, new surround, and valve replacement). Mid-range acrylic-pan builds with tiled walls start around $10,000. Fully custom tile showers are quoted individually based on design, tile selection, glass, and layout changes.

The shower is the most complex and expensive component, carrying the highest demand for proper waterproofing and long-term durability. Done wrong, a shower failure causes hidden water damage. Done right, it lasts decades.

Yes — if walls are open, it makes sense to replace aging mixing valves and raise the shower head to modern height standards while everything is accessible, rather than revisit it later. This is included in our standard scope.

Converting from a tub to a shower requires replacing the existing 1½" tub drain with a 2" P-trap and drain line to meet current plumbing code. That means opening the floor and adjusting plumbing below before setting the new tub or pan.

Absolutely. ADA grab bars, foldable benches, and curbless entries are common upgrades we install — especially important for aging-in-place and accessible bathroom design.
